Formed in 1958 by a group of enthusiastic dog owners, CCOC club members today continue the tradition of helping people become responsible dog owners as well as encouraging the spirit of competition.
Our Club
Canterbury Canine Obedience Club is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership and providing quality training for dogs and their handlers in the Christchurch region.
We offer a range of training programs including domestic obedience courses, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) classes, obedience competition training, Rally-O training, and agility training at all levels.
Our club also hosts obedience, agility, and Rally-O competitions throughout the year, providing opportunities for members to test their skills and enjoy the camaraderie of the dog training community.
